It was another slow weekend at the box office, but that doesn't mean there wasn't any excitement. Two new releases, House at the End of the Street and End of Watch, were very close to being number 1. And a third new release, Trouble With the Curve wasn't too far behind in third.

I really thought End of Watch would blow all the others out of the water over the weekend. I guess that goes to show what I know. Then again, it did play on 300 less screens than House at the End of the Street and 500 less than Trouble With the Curve. I may have been right if End of Watch had played on more screens. I was a bit surprised by how well Trouble with the Curve did, I guess the movie going public still loves Clint Eastwood.
