Snow White and The Huntsman is this weekend's box office winner. The new take on the classic tale took the number one spot by pulling in more than $56 million over it's first three days. It beat last week's number one movie MIB 3 by nearly $30 million despite playing on 500 less screens. From Boxofficemojo.com:

Although the film still has quite a ways to go before catching The Avengers, $56 million is quite an impressive pull especially during the first week of June. The biggest surprise of the weekend was Wes Anderson's newest Moonrise Kingdom. it only grossed $849,000, good for 13th place, but it did so on only 16 screens. It's $53,063 per screen average was by far the best of the weekend.
