On the set of "Superman"
Check out these cool pics taken last week in Sugar Grove, Illinois on the set of the new Superman film Man of Steel. The pics were taken at Route 56 and Galena Blvd. and show the aftermath of a tornado sweeping through town.
Diana Lane, Henry Cavill, and Kevin Costner were also spotted on set, but producers are locking down the Man of Steel set making it hard to snap any good pictures. Betsy Steinberg, managing director of the Illinois Film Office, told the Chicago Tribune about why producers are being so tight with security:
"From my experience, big action movies tend to be more secretive. They have tight reigns on things and don't want too much getting out. They don't want it losing the excitement and mystery."
