Snooki is spotted filming her popular reality show Jersey Shore in Florence, Italy earlier this week (June 6). The diminutive MTV star was seen using a megaphone to urge passers-by to stop by O'Vesuvio Pizzeria, the restaurant the cast is working at this season.
Snooki's roommate Vinny Guadagnino was spotted earlier in the day passing out fliers in front of O'Vesuvio while announcing that it had the "best pizza in the world. Ciao, buona sera."
According to E!, the Jersey Shore cast has ignited a pizza war in the Florence. The nearby Munaciello Pizzeria recently posted a sign in their window that reads "Tamarri Americans? Jersey Shore, no thank you. Only REAL Italian pizza." "Tamarri" roughly translates to "redneck" in Italian. Hmmm, sounds like residents aren't exactly thrilled to have MTV in their town.
