Russell Brand and Alec Baldwin are spotted on the set of Rock of Ages in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Tuesday (May 31). The pic was tweeted by director Adam Shankman, who wrote: “First look! World premiere! Russell and Alec making my life heaven on #rockofagesmovie”
Baldwin plays Bourbon Room club owner Dennis Dupree in the film and Brand plays the club’s manager Lonny. Here’s a bit more about the plot from CNN’s Marquee Blog:
“The 80′s-themed movie tells the story of a small-town girl named Sherrie (Julianne Hough) who moves to Hollywood to act. She takes a job at the Bourbon Room and starts a romance with Drew (Diego Boneta), who ends up getting Sherrie fired after she has a dalliance with Stacee Jaxx (Tom Cruise). Although Sherrie finds herself working at a gentleman’s club owned by Justice (Mary J. Blige), she eventually leaves exotic dancing so she can find true love.”
