Richard Gere is seen on the set of his new film Arbitrage in New York's Central Park on Wednesday (April 13). Al Pacino was originally attached to the film, but was replaced by Gere.
Directed by Nicholas Jarecki, the film follows a troubled hedge fund manager "who is desperate to sell his trading empire and pull the eject cord from the business with his huge earnings intact. Trouble is, his gains have been mostly ill gotten and he’s really looking to ditch the place before anyone discovers the massive fraud he’s been perpetrating. And then he makes a careless – and violent – mistake that has even bigger ramifications."
Tim Roth and Susan Sarandon also star.
