Regis Philbin
Regis Philbin (and his sidekick co-star Kelly Ripa) are spotted on the set of their new commercial for TD Bank on the Upper West Side of New York on Tuesday (Mar 1). Regis must have been a good little boy to get that lollipop!
In sad morning talk show news, Regis announced in January that this year will be his last hosting LIVE! with Regis & Kelly. His official last day is rumored to be sometime in November. Regis has been on the show since 1983, and alongside Kelly since 2001. Although we don't know Regis' next career move, I think he might be going on to something better; he said:
"I'm not going to retire. I just will be gone."
I think he should stay. Who's with me?
