Joshua Jackson: "Fringe" explosion!

A bloodied Joshua Jackson is seen filming the sci-fi series Fringe in Vancouver on Friday (Mar. 18). In the scene, Joshua narrowly missed being blown to bits in a huge explosion. Close call!

If you're a fan of Josh's, you know he's been dating Diane Kruger since 2006. The German actress recently told The Daily Star that she loves how intellectually curious her Fringe boyfriend is:

"Josh is someone who is very grounded. He is very curious and is someone who always reads and is very politically engaged. He awakened the urge to ask more questions. You can take so many things for granted, because you read them and think it must be true, and he's not like that."

Sofia Vergara on the prowl

Decked out in her cheetah print top, the beautiful Sofia Vergara is spotted on the set of Modern Family last week in Los Angeles (Mar. 17). Julie Bowen was also seen on set that day - you can check out those pics here.

In other Sofia news, the actress just signed on as the new spokesperson for Xfinity TV in Spanish, Comcast Cable's new project aimed at the Latin market. Subscribers to the Xfinity service will be able to view programming from Univision, Cine Mexicano, Gran Cine, and HBO Latino online and On Demand. Sofia told the Wall Street Journal:

"You cannot compare to the amount of things that the English-speaking public gets. Every time that I try to get attached to a campaign I try not to do it just for the money. I try to find something I can relate to and be part of. I thought this was fantastic because they're tying to give the Latin market entertainment in their own language."

Rachael Taylor, Minka Kelly, and Annie Ilonzeh are seen filming Charlie's Angels in Miami on Wednesday (Mar. 16). Minka was also seen shooting a scene on a motorcycle that day, though she looks quite a bit more glamorous in these pics

Julie Bowen on the set of "Modern Family"

Julie Bowen is spotted on the set of Modern Family in Los Angeles on Thursday (Mar. 17). Bowen plays Claire, the matriarch of the Dunphy family, on the hit comedy (which is one of my absolute FAVES).

Despite being a very attractive woman, Julie recently joked with Parade that it's a little hard working on the set of Modern Family:

"There are days when I'm like, 'Hey, you look pretty good.' But I work with Sofia Vergara. You can have your very best day, and then you walk in and look at her and you go, 'Okay, now that's just superhuman.' She's extraordinarily beautiful, smart, and funny. I don't look bad, but I don't look like Sofia Vergara, and that's okay."

Emma Watson: oh là là

Emma Watson is seen kissing French actor Cyril Descours on the final day of her shoot for Lancôme in Paris on Thursday (Mar. 17). You can see some pictures of Emma on set earlier this week on Caught on Set's Emma Watson page.

As you may have heard, the Harry Potter star was named the new face of Lancôme on Monday. She was previously the face of Burberry, appearing in their Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 campaigns.

Look for Emma to begin production soon on her new film The Perks of Being a Wallflower, based on the 1999 coming-of-age novel by Stephen Chbosky. Logan Lerman (Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief) will also star. Filming in scheduled to take place in Pittsburgh.

James Callis and Jamie Bamber filming "17th Precinct"

James Callis and Jamie Bamber are seen filming the pilot for NBC's new supernatural drama 17th Precinct in Vancouver (Mar. 15). James and Jamie play a homicide detective and crime scene expert, respectively, who rely more on magic than conventional detective skills to solve crimes. Tricia Helfer also stars in the series as a coroner who's an expert in the art of black magic and spell-casting..

Interestingly, Callis, Bamber, and Helfer all starred in Battlestar Galactica. It's no coincidence the three are working together again - 17th Precinct is being produced by former Battlestar Galactica producer Ronald D. Moore.

Nice to see the trio reunite!

Minka Kelly is a motorcycle mama

Minka Kelly is caught on set filming Charlie's Angels in Miami on Wednesday (Mar. 16). Minka and crew have been filming the pilot for the new ABC series for the past week -- check out all the pictures on Caught on Set's Charlie's Angels page.

Minka will play Marisa in the new series, a former Marine "weapons expert" who is trained in hand-to-hand combat.

Robert Wagner is rumored to be the voice of the new Charlie. Of course Charlie - played by John Forsythe in the original 1970's series - is never seen; his voice is just heard through the phone.
