"Georgetown" kicks off filming in New York

Daisy Betts and James Wolk are seen on the set of the pilot of the new ABC drama Georgetown in the SoHo neighborhood of New York yesterday (Mar. 24). Katie Cassidy was also spotted on set - check the pics out in the gallery below.

The new series, written by Will Fetters, centers on the young people behind the power brokers in Washington (sort of a Gossip Girl meets The West Wing).

Betts - most well-known for her role as Peta Lee on the Australian soap opera Out of the Blue - plays the part of Sam Whitman, a hard-working aide to the President's top advisor. Wolk, who starred in the Fox series Lone Star, plays a Presidential speechwriter (the youngest ever). Cassidy will play a quick-witted staffer in the White House Communications Office with connections to the First Lady.

Sandra Bullock is spotted leaving her trailer on the set of her new film Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close in New York on Tuesday (Mar. 22). The actress was also spotted on set last Fiday - check out the pics here.

Of course Sandra is known as one of the sweetest celebrities in Hollywood. And that reputation is well-deserved - she's just a good all-around person. For example, after donating $1 million last year to Doctors without Borders to aid in the Haiti earthquake relief, Sandra stepped up and donated another $1 million to the Red Cross to aid their relief efforts in Japan. The organization said in a statement:

"The American Red Cross is extremely grateful for this generous support from Sandra Bullock and her family. This contribution is vitally important as the Red Cross works to provide critical assistance and essential relief items in this time of urgent need for so many people in Japan."

I love you Sandra Bullock!

OMG, Check out Blake Lively on the new set of Gossip Girl in Santa Monica, CA on Thursday (Mar 24). Gossip Girl has moved to the West Coast (for at least this scene)! Get ready Cali!

Later this month, Lively will receive CinemaCon's "Breakthrough Performer of the Year" award in Las Vegas. Her co-star Ryan Reynolds from the Green Lantern will be awarded CinemaCon's "Male Star of the Year" award. The two are blowing up!

Mitch Neuhauser, CinemaCon managing director said: "Blake recently captivated audiences and critics around the world with her stunning turn in The Town, and Green Lantern is one of the most anticipated films of the year. We are thrilled to honor such a wonderful young talent."

West Coast represent now put your hands up... for Blake. Congrats!

Back to work for Britney Spears

Britney Spears is spotted on the set of her music video for "Till the World Ends" late last week in Los Angeles (Mar. 18). The singer tweeted the pic and said:

"Day 1 of the #TTWE Videoshoot. Just wrapped my first big dance number. Taking a well deserved break people! -Brit"

"Till the World Ends" is the second single off Britney's upcoming Femme Fatale album (dropping March 29). The song was actually written by Ke$ha. She told MTV:

"I consider myself a songwriter before and above everything else, so it's an honor to write for one of pop music's biggest icons. And I hope it gets everyone's ass on the dance floor cuz y'all know that's what K-Monay does best!"

Matt Damon vs. A Bear!

Matt Damon is spotted getting up close and personal with a huge grizzly bear on the set of We Bought a Zoo Tuesday in Los Angeles (Mar. 22). Matt hasn't been spotted on set since early February. They must be doing some re-shoots.

Matt's new film The Adjustment Bureau is a hit! It's only been out for 3 weeks, but has already earned a worldwide gross of $82 million. Considering that the film's budget was $62 million, it's all profit from here on out!

The Adjustment Bureau was given a 72% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, so if you're looking for something to do this weekend, check it out.

Jude Law and Rachel Weisz are seen getting friendly on the first day of shooting their new rom-com 360 in London on Wednesday (Mar 23).

Jude and Rachel are no strangers to getting close with each other - they shared a steamy sex scene in Enemy At The Gates in 2001.

360 takes a look at what happens when partners from different social backgrounds engage in physical relationships. Also starring in the comedy are Sir Anthony Hopkins, Maria Flor and Karl Markovics (loved him in The Counterfeiters!).

It looks like it's gonna be a good movie!

One of those guys is Matthew Bomer . . .

Matthew Bomer - and a whole bunch of Neal Caffrey lookalikes - are spotted on the set of the USA hit show White Collar in New York on Monday (Mar. 21). Hmmm, does Neal have another con in the works?

Matt dropped a little bombshell on fans during his hosting of the Today show's fourth hour on Friday when he revealed that he has three kids! The 33-year-old gave a shout-out to his 5-year-old son Kit and 3-year-old twins Walker and Henry. When co-host Hoda Kotb asked him how he juggles work and home, Matt said:

"I fly home and fly back, and I have a great support team. It's a beautiful thing."

Look for the Season 3 premiere of White Collar on June 7.
