New York mayor Michael Bloomberg is spotted visiting the set of Pan Am in New York last week (August 22). I love those old Pan Am uniforms! One of the airlines definitely needs to bring those back. Retro is trendy, right?
During Bloomberg's visit, his assistant tweeted: "Today the mayor is visiting the set of Pan Am, one of the 23 prime time TV series now being filmed in the 5 boros - a record for NYC!"
Pan Am star Christina Ricci tells the August issue of Nylon magazine that she's been preparing to film the second episode of the series for a while:
"We all have to be in bikinis in the second episode. Some of the girls are like, 'I'm not dieting, screw it!' And I'm, like, totally dieting; I'm eating protein and vegetables. And I'm doing my Pilates exercises at night, when I'm watching television."
