Sandi Swanigan, who runs Steveston's film commission, told the Vancouver Sun last week that the town is hoping the show will increase tourism to the small community:
"Steveston is a fairly seasonal village and this helps us during those softer months. Like Cloverdale [British Columbia], we attract a lot of people in the summer. It'll be neat to have another reason to come to Steveston."
