Miley Cyrus' man Liam Hemsworth was spotted sporting a cop's uniform June 12th on the set of Empire State in New Orleans. The movie also stars Dwayne Johnson, Emma Roberts and Nikki Reed. From examiner.com:
"Sundance Film Festival Award winner Dito Montiel will direct "Empire State" from a screenplay written by Primetime Emmy Award winner Adam Mazer. Based on true events that took place in 1982, Mazer's script centers on two Greek childhood friends from Astoria, NY who plan to rob an armored car depository, with Dwayne Johnson playing NYPD detective James Ransone. Emma Roberts will play a Greek waitress at the Neptune Diner named Nancy Michaelides who is a love interest for Liam Hemsworth's character, and eventually marries him after he breaks up with his loud foul-mouthed hot-tempered wannabe model girlfriend Lisette."

This drama sounds so exciting. I love movies that are based on true stories. Hopefully they stick somewhat close to the actual facts of the story though. It's always disappointing when you watch a movie based on a true story and then find out later that the real thing didn't happen at all like they made it seem. You know, like, X-Men: First Class.
