Penn Badgley and Kaylee DeFer are spotted on the set of Gossip Girl last week in New York (July 28). In addition to Gossip Girl, Kaylee also had a role on the Fox sitcom The War at Home from 2005 to 2007.

Penn told Entertainment Weekly last week that he's hoping the upcoming 5th season of Gossip Girl focuses more on the relationship between his character Dan and Blair (Leighton Meester):
"The most fun I've had in years were the Dan and Blair scenes because the dialogue is given an opportunity to go where it doesn’t go with Dan otherwise. I really enjoy that. I would like to see that explored."
