Chris Colfer and Lea Michele are seen filming their hit show Glee on location at Eagle Rock Plaza in Los Angeles last week (Mar. 30). Also spotted on set that day were a TON of other Glee stars: Naya Rivera, Mark Salling, Cory Monteith, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale, Chord Overstreet, Harry Shum, and Jenna Ushkowitz. A big congrats are in order for the Glee cast, who scored their first airplay hits with two original songs they performed on the March 15 episode. "Loser Like Me" will hit the Adult Pop Songs airplay chart this Thursday at #37 and "Summer Rain" will hit the Adult Contemporary chart at #29.
WAJI (Ft. Wayne, Ind.) program director Barb Richards told Billboard that she is embracing the original songs:
"The show is huge and its music is popular, as shown by the sales. Still, I believe that people want to hear originals over remakes, so up until the Glee cast's original music it didn't make sense for us to play each latest cover, other than to spotlight it the day of the show."
