Ryan Gosling and George Clooney are seen on the set of The Ides of March Saturday in Cincinatti (Feb. 19). The two men were also spotted on Friday filming some scenes at a few local bars (pics here).
The film - which Clooney is directing - is based off of the 2004 Howard Dean primary campaign-inspired play Farragut North, a "classic tale of hubris set against a contemporary landscape — about the lust for power and the costs one will endure to achieve it."
Leonardo DiCaprio and Chris Pine were also considered for the lead role, but the part ultimately went to Gosling.
