Here’s a cool set photo from the filming of Have a Little Faith in Detroit last week (June 21). Yes, that’s snow in the middle of June in Detroit! Author Mitch Albom, who wrote the bestselling book the film is based on, posted the picture to his Facebook page and said: “Amazing! Created snow in middle of summer rainstorm. Brad Whitford and Cass – the real elder of church – doing a scene in this car.”
For those of you that have never read Have a Little Faith, a church with a hole in its roof plays a key role. The book was such a success that Albom actually fixed the hole in the roof. Ironically, filmmakers had to create another hole in the roof for the movie! Albom explains:
“Ironically, after we finally fixed hole in roof, movie had 2 make new one. Here it is. (Don’t worry; they’ll fix this one, too – + help the church.)”
Check out a picture of the new hole in the gallery.
