"The X Factor" set
Here's the first pics of The X Factor set, which was taken on Sunday at The Galen Center on the campus of USC (May 8). This set is only being used for the Los Angeles tryouts. Once the competitors are chosen, the show will move to its permanent studio at CBS Television City in Hollywood.
Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid, and Cheryl Cole are manning the judge's chairs for the much-hyped American Idol competitor, with Nicole Scherzinger and British TV personality Steve Jones hosting. Check out some pics of the judges arriving to set in the gallery below
After arriving at The Galen Center, Cowell addressed the audience:
"The idea is we're trying to find a superstar. ... And you're our fifth judge. Basically you're here to tell us who you like. You can be as badly behaved as you want, actually. The whole reason for doing this is I trust you guys for being able to judge this process. There's $5 million at stake."
