Cheryl Cole
English star Cheryl Cole is seen on the set of a photoshoot for Glamour magazine at a private residence Beverly Hills earlier this week (Mar. 1). If you're not familiar with Cheryl, you will be soon. She's on the short list of stars Simon Cowell is considering to be a judge on his new American Idol competitor The X Factor.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, Cowell confirmed that George Michael, Nicole Scherzinger, Mariah Carey, and Paula Abdul are also being considered for the show:
"[Two days ago], we met somebody who I've never met before in my life, who I just loved. And that's why it's good to kind of delay the process. It's not about necessarily the TV show per se, it’s people. You genuinely gotta trust that they're gonna be able to do the job you're paying them to do. And like I said, a hit-maker who worked in America and has had experience, I think is crucial to this panel as well."
The X Factor premieres on Fox this fall and will feature a $5 million prize.
