Yesterday, September19th, Alec Baldwin was caught on the set of the film Untitled Woody Allen Project in New York City. Baldwin must be pretty busy since the couldn't wait to get on his phone every time there was a break in the action. I wonder who he was talking to?

His new wife. That's who he is talking to. I'm not a close friend of his or even a psychic, but you don't have to be one to figure this call out. Who else would call and bug that often while you're at work? Am I right fellas or just not wrong? She probably saw a mouse or something. Just kidding ladies, you know I love you all. Woody Allen on the set of his latest film the currently named, Untitled Woody Allen Project in New York City. Yesterday we got to see the star of this new project, Cate Blanchett on set, now we get to see the director's side of that day of filming.

I love Woody Allen's pictures. He just gets me. If you met or knew me, you probably wouldn't think I have much in common with a 77 year old Jewish director from Brooklyn and I don't think so either. But man I love his movies. The writing, the directing, the acting, he just brings it all together. I can't wait to see this flick, even though I don't even know the name yet.
Happy Friday friends, have a good weekend and be safe out there kids.

On Monday September 10th Cate Blanchett was spotted on the set of the Untitled Woody Allen Project in New York City. She was looking classy as usual in the photos and we can tell from them that her character is married and she likes to eat.

Or maybe she her character is a super human who needs to eat in order for her super powers to work? If that isn't where this character is going Woody really needs to think about it. You know what I'm willing to do for you Woody? Give me a call and I'll help you fix this whole movie.

Penelope Cruz and Woody Allen
“A Look Back” is a series of posts we here at Caughtonset.com feature weekly. It’s as simple as the title makes it sound. Each Friday we will take “A Look Back” to the set of a newly released film. Look at pictures from the set today, then watch the movie tonight.
Today we take a look back to the making of To Rome With Love, Woody Allen's follow up to 2011's Midnight in Paris. To Rome stars Woody Allen, Penelope Cruz, Ellen Page, Alec Baldwin, Jesse Eisenberg and Roberto Benigni. To Rome With Love will not be a serious contender to win the box office this weekend as it is only opening in 5 theaters in New York and Los Angeles. Total. For more on the films that will be battling we go to Ray Subers at Boxofficemojo.com:

"Brave is set to open in a Pixar-record 4,164 locations, 2,790 of which will include 3D shows. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will also try to battle its way to solid grosses at 3,106 theaters (2,497 with 3D), but its target demographic is too narrow for it to really break out. Meanwhile, Focus Features is releasing apocalyptic comedy/drama Seeking a Friend for the End of the World at 1,618 venues, while To Rome with Love, Woody Allen's follow-up to Midnight in Paris, launches in a handful of theaters in New York and Los Angeles."
Did you know Pixar had a string of nine-straight $200 million openings and they only have 1 movie in it's entire history to receive a "rotten" rating on Rotten Tomatoes? If you didn't you obviously didn't read Mr. Subers story before this one. Don't feel bad though, because now you do know and knowing is half the battle.

Speaking of Woody, Cars 2 actress Emily Mortimer says the fast-paced production on the Pixar animated film was a lot like working with the legendary director:
"I did a Woody Allen film [Match Point] and in a way it was the same experience. He doesn't encourage too much preparation or thinking about it before you turn up. That's just the way he works, and so pretty much the first time you say it, is the first take and that's the last take generally. You got one shot."
