Alexander Skarsgård is spotted on the set of his new film What Maisie Knew last week in New York (August 30). Cool shades!

Alexander's dad Stellan Skarsgård was also spotted on the set of a film last week (The Avengers) - check out some pics here.

According to E!, Skarsgård was seen partying it up over the weekend at The Surf Lodge in The Hamptons. Of course the ladies were all over him, with one asking the True Blood hunk: "How does it feel to be the sexiest man alive?" Skarsgård's reponse? "I am?"

LOL! Love it!

English actor/comedian Steve Coogan is seen on the set of his new film What Maisie Knew in New York on Monday (August 22). You may recognize Steve from his roles in Night at the Museum and Tropic Thunder.

True Blood star Alexander Skarsgård was seen on the set of the film a few weeks ago - check out the pics here.

Coogan told the Telegraph last year what drew home to being a comedian:

"It's a universal thing for funny people that playing the fool empowers you. That's the paradox: you become the most powerful person in the room. I remember that was a good feeling. The feeling of empowerment was what was addictive about it. Still is in some ways."

Swedish actor Alexander Skarsgård is spotted on the set of his new movie What Maisie Knew in New York on Friday (August 12). Also seen on set was Scottish actress Joanna Vanderham.

Back in June, Alexander was seen in La Puente, California filming his HBO series True Blood - check out the pics here.

Alexander stopped by Live! with Regis and Kelly last week for an interview. During the chat, the star revealed why he temporarily quit acting at the age of 13:

"I didn't like the attention. I didn't know who I was, so to hear people on TV or on the radio, in newspapers, magazines talking about me and who I was and what I like was kind of confusing."
