Marilu Henner and Poppy Montgomery are spotted on the set of Unforgettable last month in New York. Poppy's natural hair color is blonde but she went red for the new series.

Unforgettable is actually based on Marilu and her incredible photographic memory. Poppy told USA Today that she was intimidated the first time she talked with Marilu:

"The first time I had lunch with her, I felt intimidated, because I couldn't get out of my head that if I did anything wrong, or I was late, or I had food in my teeth or I spat when I talked, that she would never, never, never, never forget it."

Poppy Montgomery is "Unforgettable"

Poppy Montgomery is seen filming her new hit show Unforgettable in Harlem, New York earlier this week (November 1). Wow, she has the most beautiful hair!

Poppy told USA Today last month that relocating from Los Angeles to New York to film the new show has given her a chance to show off her "gypsy" spirit to her 3-year-old son Jackson:

"I told him, 'We're circus people, we have to follow the circus.' His dad will go away to work because (he's) an actor, as well. I think it's good for him to get a different perspective on life."

Poppy Montgomery filming "Unforgettable"

Poppy Montgomery is spotted filming her new CBS series Unforgettable in Long Island last week (August 24). Looks like she's really enjoying herself!

Back in April, Poppy was spotted filming the pilot for the show - check out the pics here.

Poppy plays a former detective in the show who has a rare genetic condition that allows to her to literally remember every detail of every day of her life - the same condition former Taxi star Marilu Henner actually has in real life. Showrunner Ed Redlick said at the TCA panel earlier this month that it's incredible working with Henner:

"When you see how this [condition] comes across, it literally blows your mind. Do we take some dramatic license with it in the show? Yes. But not a lot We sent a copy of the pilot to Marilu, who finally got a chance to pop in the DVD. The scene where Poppy’s character pulls stuff out of the air about a specific day (that happened years before), well, within seconds Marilu pauses the DVD, calls me and says, 'No, that wasn't Friday, it was a Tuesday.' In that moment she'd seen it, she immediately knew. That's the level of ability we're talking about."

Poppy Montgomery on the set of "Unforgettable"

Australian actress Poppy Montgomery is spotted on the set of her new CBS pilot Unforgettable earlier this month in Queens, New York (April 4).

Poppy plays Carrie Wells on the show, a NYPD detective with the special and unique ability to remember anything and everything. While it sounds like a skill handy to a detective, it wreaks havoc on her personal life. The show also stars Nip/Tuck's Dylan Walsh.

The pilot is being directed by Niels Arden Oplev, who also directed The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo in 2009 (the original Swedish-produced film based on the novel, not the new American version being produced).
