Robbins told The Telegraph recently that he was sort of forced to re-evaluate his life last year after suffering a midlife crisis:

"A midlife crisis – I think we all go through something, it's inevitable, it's unavoidable. You're staring some kind of frightening thing down. It's when you pass 40, inherently we double our age when we think about life. At 40 you can imagine 80. You start thinking about how many years you've got left, and you start thinking, 'What the hell am I doing here?'"

"Thanks for Sharing" continues filming in New York

Josh Gad, Tim Robbins, Mark Ruffalo, and Pink are spotted filming their new drama Thanks for Sharing in New York on Tuesday (October 18). The actors all play sex addicts who meet and bond while at therapy.

Speaking of Tim, you can count him as a supporter of the growing populist "Occupy Wall Street" movement. He joined protesters earlier this month in New York in a demonstration outside the Federal Courthouse in Foley Square. He told the Financial Times:

"This is what an actual grassroots movement looks like. It's a bit sloppy and disorganized but full of passion."

Tim Robbins on the set of "Thanks for Sharing"

Tim Robbins is spotted on the set of his new film Thanks for Sharing last Friday in New York (September 23). Tim is no stranger to New York - he can often be spotted playing roller hockey in the West Village.

Robbins plays a sex addict in the comedy. In fact, Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo, and Joely Richardson all play sex addicts who bond over their affliction. Thanks for Sharing is Stuart Blumberg's directorial debut. He was actually nominated for an Oscar last year for co-writing The Kids Are All Right.

Look for the film to be released next year.
