Austin Stowell on the set of "AWOL"

Austin Stowell is spotted on the set of AWOL on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor earlier this week (August 2). You may recognize Austin from his role as Jesse on The Secret Life of the American Teenager.

Teresa Palmer and Liam Hemsworth were also filming on campus - check out the pics in the gallery.

Also starring in AWOL is Max Adler (aka Karofsky from Glee). He told the Huffington Post last month that the film is going to be amazing:

"It's a Vietnam war movie, dealing with soldiers and the college kids back in America protesting. It's a really interesting look at what the media tells people to believe about war, and what the media was like then and what it is now. It's one of the best scripts I've read this year for a movie so I'm really thrilled."

Teresa Palmer and Liam Hemsworth filming "AWOL"

Teresa Palmer and Liam Hemsworth are spotted filming their new movie AWOL in Ypsilanti, Michigan over the weekend (July 30). Aimee Teegarden was also spotted on set - check out her pics in the gallery.

Liam comes from a family of actors - his brother Luke Hemsworth appeared in the soap opera Neighbours while his other brother Chris Hemsworth played Thor in the blockbuster 2011 film of the same name.

Liam plays Wright in the film, a soldier who goes AWOL during the Vietnam War to return home to Michigan to win back his ex-girlfriend Juniper (Teegarden).
