Sarah Hyland is spotted on the set of her new film Struck by Lightning in Los Angeles last Thursday (July 21). The Modern Family star was looking super-cute in a cheerleading outfit.

Chris Colfer and Christina Hendricks were also seen on set last week - check out their pics on the Struck by Lightning page.

In the new film, which Colfer wrote (he is so talented!), his character is struck by lightning, which leads to a flashback where he tells the story of how he blackmailed students at his high school into contributing to a literary magazine."

Chris Colfer is "Struck by Lightning"

Chris Colfer is seen on the set of his new film Struck by Lightning in Los Angeles on Monday (July 18). Cool shades!

Red-headed beauty Christina Hendricks was also spotted on set on Monday - check out the pics here.

There was a huge cast shake-up on Glee last week when it was announced that Chris, Lea Michele, and Cory Monteith wouldn't be returning for Season 4 of the hit Fox show (i.e. the upcoming Season 3 will be their last). Chris told Access Hollywood that he was sort of blindsided by the announcement:

"[I found out] yesterday on Twitter. Yeah, I found out that they made that announcement. I didn't necessarily know that it was going to be our last season next year, I knew something like that was coming up eventually. I mean, we can't be there forever. I don't necessarily want to leave so soon, but I mean, it's fine. It's what it is. And all things come to an end."

Adam's playing the young version of Chris Colfer in the film (a role he also played in the Glee episode Grilled Cheesus). He looks so much like Chris. I can't believe the two aren't related!

Christina Hendricks is spotted on the set of her new film Struck by Lightning in Los Angeles on Monday (July 18). The actress, sporting her trademark red locks, was seen wearing a beautiful floral dress.

Struck by Lightning, described as a "coming-of-age indie comedy," also stars Glee's Chris Colfer. Colfer's not just starring in the film - he wrote it, too! And he's actually giving fans a chance to be in it. Yesterday, he tweeted:
