Stana Katic And Co. Return To "Castle" Set

Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion and Jon Huertas were spotted on the set of the television show Castle in Los Angeles, CA. After taking a couple months off the cast and crew returned to begin production on a new season of the hit ABC show. The 5th season of Castle is set to air at the end of September.

Nathan Fillion recently posted a couple of pictures from off the set to his twitter account. It appears the 41 year old actor has recently taken up a new hobby, Welding. He set up a welding station and even practiced a couple of welds. Then he posted a picture of his burnt hand, "Burning hand from grabbing hot metal. Check." Ouch. That looks pretty painful, I hope his injuries don't affect his ability to work. I really don't want to wait for this new season to get started.

"Castle" is over!

Not to worry it's only over for this season. Castle's Stana Katic, Nathan Fillion and the rest of the cast were seen in Los Angeles last week during their last day on set for season 4. But don’t fear fans, the show’s creator is already talking about the 5th season. From tvfanatic.com:

“Creator Andrew Marlowe says, “I think it’s going to be interesting to see the Beckett/Castle relationship next season when we have the cards on the table, and when they’ve had fundamental confrontations and each knows how the other one feels, I think that’s something that gives us a lot of really intense, fun storytelling”

What a relief, I wasn’t sure what I would be doing with my Monday nights if it didn’t get renewed. The next episode airs April 30, but the episode shown in these pictures will air the following Monday, May 1. You won’t want to miss the last two episodes of the season.

The always stunning Stana Katic is seen filming an episode of ABC's hit Castle in Downtown Los Angeles last week. The episode being filmed is the season finale titled "Always" which is set to air May 7.

Sometimes I wish I paid more attention when I was in school so that I had a better vocabulary. Trying to describe the beauty of Stana Katic is definitely one of those times. Now I'm going to find a thesaurus...or I'll just look at more of the pictures and you should too!

Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic are spotted filming their ABC series Castle in Downtown Los Angeles last week (October 19). Even though the show is set in New York, it's actually filmed on the West Coast.

Castle has a special Halloween-themed episode in store for viewers tonight. Series creator Andrew W. Marlow told TVLine:

"What we're dealing with is a murder inside a old, locked haunted mansion, where the only way somebody could have killed this guy was is if they were not of this world — if they were from the other side. So we get to investigate and have a lot of fun with that."

Can't wait!

Jon Huertas and Seamus Dever are spotted on the set of Castle last week in Downtown Los Angeles (August 24). The two play Detectives Kevin Ryan and Javier Esposito (or as they're called "Ryan and Esposito") on the show.

It's being reported that True Blood star Jessica Tuck will be guest-starring on Castle this season. She'll play a wealthy museum benefactor who becomes the lead suspect in a murder investigation.

"Castle" filming in Los Angeles

Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion are spotted filming Castle on 7th Street in Los Angeles last week (August 10). Even though the show is set in New York, it's actually filmed on the West Coast.

Stana and Nathan were spotted filming last month in Los Angeles as well - check out the pics here.

At Comic-Con last month in San Diego, Fillion talked about how things might change now that a female captain has taken over for Montgomery (Ruben Santiago-Hudson), who was killed in the finale:

"Castle is accustomed to being surrounded by women, he's accustomed to people adoring him. He thinks pretty highly of himself, he thinks he's pretty charming and he's never had a lot of trouble in that area. I think you get him, certainly with the Kate Beckett situation, she does like him but she tries not to let on and he drives her crazy.

"But when you have someone like our new captain who is not swayed by his charms, who does not see a use for him being around when she has plenty of good cops, you have someone who's a thorn in Castle's side. But Castle is not someone who takes failure to heart."
