Selena Gomez is spotted filming the music video for Love You Like a Love Song last week in Malibu (May 18). Total cutie!

The song is off Selena's upcoming third studio album When the Sun Goes Down, which is set to drop June 28. Love You Like a Love Song is set to be released as a single on June 28.

Selena's music video shoot is causing a bit of controversy. PETA released a statement condemning her use of painted horses (Selena's rep said in a statement that "a non toxic, vegetable based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water"):

"There are no safe ways to paint a live horse or any animal; they can have painful allergic reactions to chemicals and there’s no way to know how an individual animal will react. Also, subjecting skittish animals like horses to extended periods of restraint and spraying is stressful and frightening."

Selena Gomez and her dad Ricardo are spotted posing for a picture on the set of her Disney Channel series Wizards of Waverly Place at Hollywood Center Studios this week.

It's an emotional time for Selena as this is the show's last week of production. Here's what she tweeted yesterday:

"Daddy came to visit me on my last week of Wizards.. It's going to be a hard week. :/"

"I'm gonna bawl my eyes out when wowp finishes "

"On behalf of my cast and myself, thank you for believing in our show for the past 5 years.. We are truly grateful and owe it all to you."

Is Selena in love? She told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush at the Grammys on Sunday that she's developed some very strong feelings for teen sensation Justin Bieber -- who she's been spotted holding hands with recently; she said:

"I love him. He's been in my life a very long time. He's my friend. I think it's awesome people are interested. I don't understand why."
