Helen is actually directing this episode of Californication. Last month she tweeted: "Re-watching Californication from the first year onward to get ready to direct one in a few weeks. They're all so good." ... "Scouting locations for Californication in my own neighborhood. So fun!" After filming earlier this week, she tweeted: "Shot Californication at the Santa Monica pier all day. Great fun!"
