Sarah Michelle Gellar filming "Ringer"

Sarah Michelle Gellar is seen filming her new show Ringer at the beach in Malibu last week (August 12). Must be fun filming a scene in such a beautiful location.

Ringer premieres on The CW on September 13. Gellar told People earlier this month that one of the reasons she returned to television is because of its flexible schedule:

"I didn't realize how much I miss the atmosphere until I started back. There's something about television ... seeing the same people everyday, looking forward to the scripts — I'm loving it more than I thought I was going to.

"I want to be able to go home at night and see my daughter. I want to be there for her first day of school and her school recital. Television offers me that — they're amazing at working around schedules. All of the big milestones I’m there for."

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Nestor Carbonell on the set of "Ringer"

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Nestor Carbonell are spotted on the set of their new CBS drama Ringer last week in Los Angeles (July 22). Loved Nestor on Lost. Glad to see him back on television!

Sarah was seen filming the Ringer pilot in New York in March - check out the pics here.

Sarah plays a duel role in the series as estranged twin sisters Bridget/Siobhan. Series co-creator Erich Charmelo revealed more about the plot at Comic-Con:

"At its core...it's a tale of two sisters where one is driven by redemption and one is driven by revenge. We're also playing with the themes of identity and duplicity, so [we're] playing within the conceits of noir. You know, you don't know really who's the femme fatale and who's the mark. Everybody has two faces, and every single one of our characters on the panel has a duplicitous nature. So we love delving into that realm of moral ambiguity."

Sarah Michelle Gellar all smiles on the set of "Ringer"

Sarah Michelle Gellar is spotted filming the pilot for Ringer in Sea Cliff, New York on Monday (Mar. 28). The actress was also spotted on the set of the new CBS drama earlier this month in Manhattan (pics here).

Sarah will be happy to hear that her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star Eliza Dushku has also been cast in a new CBS pilot. Dushku posted on her Facebook page last week:

"It is with insanest excitement & awesomeness I get to finally fill you guys in: I've JUST landed a new CBS comedy pilot w/ my comic idol Mr. Damon Wayans! Stay tuned, there is a serious happy dance occurring at the moment xx!"

According to Deadline, Dushku's new pilot will be based on ESPN personality Colin Cowherd's sports talk show.

Sarah Michelle Gellar on the set of "Ringer"

Sarah Michelle Gellar is spotted in New York last Friday on the set of the pilot for her new CBS drama Ringer (Mar. 18).

It's good to see Sarah back on the set of a TV show. She last starred in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, which ended its run in 2003.

In Ringer, Sarah plays a woman on the run from the mob who poses as her wealthy twin sister to try and escape them - what she wasn't counting on that her twin sister had a price on her head as well. Sarah plays the roles of both sisters, Bridget Cafferty and Siobhan Marx, in the new series. Nestor Carbonell and Kristoffer Polaha also star.
