The summer movie season is in full swing and with so many school age kids out of school for summer break it gives these animated films a built in audience. But let's not overlook the real source of the money for these animated features, Adults. Not only are they the ones taking and more importantly paying for their kids to watch Brave and Madagascar, but they enjoy these movies just as much. I don't even have kids and I have been over the "target audience age limit" for pretty much everyone of Pixar's films, but I still love them. I can't help it, the stories are just so good and they take me back to memories of my childhood. Who doesn't remember when their father, the king, held an archery contest for your hand in marriage? Well, I guess I guess not everyone can relate.
