Here are a few more pictures of Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace on the set of Dead Man Down in New York City from June 29th. Both Farrell and Rapace of other exciting projects about to hit the big screen. Farrell was featured with his beautiful Total Recall co-stars, Jessica Biel and Kate Beckinsale on the cover of Maxim Magazine. From Becomegorgeous.com:

"The action movie is packed with interesting, sci-fi gadgets and apparently the cast fell in love with some of them. When asked about the gadgets they'd love to own in reality, the cast has three different answers that go from Jessica's desire for a hovercraft to Kate's implant phones and Colin's funny wish: 'a three-breasted hooker in a hovercraft!'."

I agree with Jessica, I want a hovercraft too. But Kate also picked a good one since it would be so much more convenient if my phone is implanted instead of in my pocket. Who am I kidding? The one I'd really want and would be willing to pay the most for would be Colin Farrell's funny wish. But, don't tell anyone. Total Recall hits theaters on August 3rd.

Noomi Rapace

Noomi Rapace was caught on the set of her new movie Dead Man Down in New York City on June 25th. From the looks of the pictures she either had a really rough night or her character in the movie does. I don't want to start any rumors so I'll just go with the second option. Rapace was also seen with a mystery man on the set. From The Daily Mail:

"The Swedish actress stunned on the set of the film in a flowing mid-length dress but it was during takes for the movie that she really showed off a different side when she was seen giving a mystery man a warm embrace. She was seen giving the blonde haired man who was dressed causal in a pair of ripped jeans and a printed T-shirt a kiss on the cheek"

Well, I wonder who that mystery man is? And what in the hell happened to her ear and head? I was already looking forward to seeing this movie, but now I have to in order to find out what went down. The film is still a long way from being done so it's going to be even longer for it to hit theaters.

Charlize Theron always looks great, well except for that time she played a monster, and the pictures I've sen from Prometheus are no different. Prometheus hits theaters today and takes up the challenge of taking the number one spot from Snow White and the Huntsman. With the amount of star power in this film, including Theron, Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Idris Alba and director Ridley Scott, it should be able to overtake Theron's other movie while also battling with Dreamworks' Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted. "So far this Summer, it's always been pretty clear which movie would wind up taking the top spot at the box office each weekend. That's definitely not the case this weekend, though, as highly-anticipated sci-fi flick Prometheus squares off against the third installment in DreamWorks' Madagascar series. Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted is reaching 4,258 locations, which is the 11th-widest release ever (second-widest for an animated movie behind Shrek Forever After), while Prometheus is no slouch either at 3,394 venues (10th all-time for an R-rated movie). Both movies should earn over $40 million, though from there it's tough to call."

Noomi Rapace

Is that Elizabeth Shaw? No and yes. It's actually Noomi Rapace as the character Elizabeth Shaw on the set of Prometheus in pictures released earlier this week. The new Ridley Scott directed film, scheduled for a June 8 release, was shot at Pinewood Studios in the UK. Synopsis from imdb.com -

"A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race."

As a member of the human race, I believe I can speak for all of us when I say I sure hope they win. Expect to spend most of the movie on the edge of your seat as this Sci Fi horror flick looks to be a thriller. Prometheus also stars Charlize Theron, Guy Pearce, Michael Fassbender, Rafe Spall, Sean Harris and Stringer Bell. Yes I know he's an actor and his real name is Idris Alba. But I don't care what you say he'll always be Stringer Bell from The Wire in my eyes. I love that show.
