Keith Urban is spotted shooting the music video for his new single Long Hot Summer over the weekend.
You can find the song on Keith's album Get Closer, which he released last November. Long Hot Summer is the third single, following Put You in a Song and Without You. Keith told the Los Angeles Times last year that Without You, written by Dave Pahanish and Joe West, hits especially close to home:
"It's the most autobiographical song I never wrote. My friend told me, 'You've got to hear this — you won't believe it.' As a songwriter, I'd be thinking, 'Well, that's what I want to say — now how do I craft it?' I'm pretty sure if I'd tried to write that, I would have filled it with metaphors and analogies, whereas this is perfectly sound and beautifully put.
"I have this feeling that song's going to affect the way I write in the future, to remind me of the power of simplicity. It was really profound to hear it from somebody else.... I've always loved cars, and obviously guitars. It's crazy that that song could name check every single thing in my life."
