More Dakota Fanning on "Very Good Girls" Set

Dakota Fanning was spotted filming more scenes on the set of her newest film Very Good Girls in New York City. Fanning was seen filming scenes with co-star Elizabeth Olsen who was also spotted on set. The girls are playing best friends in the movie and they certainly look it.

Olga Kurylenko Continues Filming "Oblivion"

Olga Kurylenko was caught on set of her latest film Oblivion on July 11th in June Lake, CA. Kurylenko comes out of the Odyssey spacecraft and reads a map on set. Tom Cruise was also filming that same day and those pics can be seen here.

I know the picture description says she is exiting a "spacecraft," but that looks a lot like a trash can. I know a trash can when I see one and that's a trash can. I guess they can always make it look better in post production and I really hope they do because that still looks like a trash can.

Yet again an animated feature won over the audiences at the box office. Ice Age: Continental Drift, the fourth installment in the Ice Age franchise won this weekend's box office battle after pulling in more than $46 million.

It was quite the impressive weekend for the animated film as it worked its way to a higher 3-Day total than the last movie in the franchise, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. I guess children and their parents are eager to see what happens next with Manny, Diego and Sid. I did not get to theaters to see Ice Age yet, but I did go out to see Savages and Ted. I loved both movies and can't believe they are so low on the weekend box office draw. If you haven't seen Savages, you really need to. Unless you are too young to see it, in which case it is way too mature for you.

A Look Back: "Ice Age: Continental Drift"

“A Look Back” is a series of posts we here at Caughtonset.com feature weekly. It’s as simple as the title makes it sound. Each Friday we will take “A Look Back” to the set of a newly released film. Look at pictures from the set today, then watch the movie tonight.

This week we take a look back at the making of Ice Age: Continental Drift. The latest animated film to hit theaters this summer has a familiar look to it. This will be the fourth installment of the Ice Age franchise and I bet Fox is hoping the upward trend continues. According to Ray Subers at Boxofficemojo.com:

"This is only the second significant animated franchise to reach a fourth installment following the Shrek series, and each subsequent chapter has been more successful than the previous one for Ice Age. The most recent entry, 2009's Dawn of the Dinosaurs, earned a very good $196.6 million domestically while setting a foreign animated record with an outstanding $690.1 million haul. It was also well-liked for the most part, scoring a 7.0 rating on IMDb."

I'm not really a fan of the Ice Age franchise so far. Perhaps all of the added voice talent will make this installment the best yet. If you go see this movie, you can expect to hear the voices of Ray Romano, Denis Leary, John Leguizamo, Aziz Ansari, Joy Behar, Peter Dinklage, Nick Frost, Josh Gad, Jennifer Lopez, Drake, Keke Palmer and Queen Latifah. Just to name a few.

Knightley and Levine Film In A Cafe

Adam Levine and Keira Knightley were caught filming Can A Song Save Your Life? in New York on July 3rd. This is the last time we will post pictures of these two filming this movie...this week. I promise. I just had so many pictures of them from the same set that I had to post them all. It was my journalistic duty, like the people in The Newsroom.

Ok, I'm not a journalist and I don't consider myself to be one. If I hadn't seen all of the pictures from this set, I would totally believe that these two were on a date rather than filming a movie. Although I don't think that would have gone over very well with Knightley's fiance James Righton. I wonder who would win in the battle of the rockers, Adam Levine or James Righton? Someone needs to make this happen so we can find out.

Tom Cruise Is Back To Work On Set Of "Oblivion"

Just days after his divorce to Katie Holmes was settled Tom Cruise was back at work. On July 11th Tom Cruise was spotted firing a weapon on the set of Oblivion in June Lake, CA. Unfortunately for Cruise he may end up in court after all. From Ibtimes.com:

"Within days of reaching an amicable divorce settlement with Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise again seems to be hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons.

An article published in The Hollywood Reporter July 11 cites how the actor's attorney has threatened to sue American Media Inc, the parent company of National Enquirer that carried a report stating that it had the details of Cruise's split with Katie Holmes."

That sucks for Cruise. Not only did he have to deal with all the drama of getting a divorce, but now he has to deal with rumors about him being a "monster". If I were going through what he has to deal with right now, I would want to go back to work also. Fo Sho. Again, that sucks for him man.

Elizabeth Olsen Caught On "Very Good Girls" Set

There actually are other actors working on and appearing in the new movie Very Good Girls. We have the picture evidence to prove it. On July 6th Elizabeth Olsen was spotted on the set in New York City. Olsen was seen filming a scene with Dakota Fanning, with both girls decked out in black dresses.

I've seen, and even posted, so many different pictures from the set of this movie that I'm just happy to have another actress to write about. I hope they aren't filming a funeral scene or something else that sad. Maybe the two characters just go through a "goth" phase and then move on. I just have so many questions about this movie. They need to hurry up and finish filming, editing and promoting this thing so I get to watch it and find out what was going on. Get on it people!
