"A Look Back” is a series of posts we here at Caughtonset.com feature weekly. It’s as simple as the title makes it sound. Each Friday we will take “A Look Back” to the set of a newly released film. Look at pictures from the set today, then watch the movie tonight.

One of this weekend's new releases stars Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Looper looks to help the movie industry break out of the funk at the box office. Although it may not be the top movie out this weekend. According to Ray Subers at BoxOfficeMojo.com:

PICTURES: Check out more on the Look Back page

"After a few agonizingly slow weeks, the box office should experience a bit of a bump in the final weekend in September thanks to the debuts of Hotel Transylvania and Looper. Both movies are being released by Sony, with Hotel Transylvania coming from the main Columbia division while Looper is being handled by the TriStar department. Public school drama Won't Back Down is also opening in nationwide release, while Universal is experimenting with an early limited release for Pitch Perfect this weekend. Over the past few months, the buzz has been slowly building for sci-fi thriller Looper, which is opening at 2,992 locations this weekend. Trailers and commercials have generated interest thanks to the slick visuals and unique premise, which finds an assassin (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) on the run after failing to kill his future self (Bruce Willis). Recently, a steady stream of enormously positive reviews have been coming in, some of which claim the movie is a new sci-fi classic (as of Thursday afternoon, Looper had a strong 92 percent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes)

Aaron was joined on set by Chloe Moretz and Jim Carrey while filming scenes in full costume for the upcoming sequel. After the scene, he Aaron went back to his hotel and learned how to get started playing online bingo.

I can't wait to see this movie. Every time I see pictures from the set it makes me more and more excited (but not as excited as playing bingo games online). The original was so much better than I anticipated so hopefully this edition is equally as entertaining. Being a sequel is always difficult, but especially when the original was so damn good.

The Weekend Winner is a weekly update here on Caught on Set. Every Monday we will post pictures from the set of the movie that wins the box office battle over the weekend.

This weekend at the box office had a little bit of a surprise at the top. I don't think anyone was surprised by which movie earned the top spit, but rather how much it earned. Hotel Transylvania was the big winner bringing in over $40 million. A new record for the last weekend of September. From BoxOfficeMojo.com:

1 Hotel Transylvania $43,000,000
2 Looper $21,200,000
3 End of Watch $8,000,000
4 Trouble With the Curve $7,530,000
5 House At the End of the Street $7,154,000

PICTURES: Check out more on the Weekend Winner page

That is quite a bit of money. Especially when you look at how poor ticket sales have been lately. It just goes to show that you can't go wrong with an animated movie that appeals to children as well as adults. I'm about to go watch Hotel in theaters and I don't even have any kids.

I have to go now and I'll be back tomorrow. At least I hope so since after all of this crap I might be too beat up to even look at a computer.

I love Audrey. She is so beautiful and talented. Amelie was great and she really made that movie. The Da Vinci Code was entertaining. But the movie she appears in that is my favorite is L'Auberge Espagnole. I know she doesn't play a huge part in the movie, but it was set and shot in and around Barcelona. I love anything that has to do with Barcelona. It's my favorite city in the whole world.

I have to admit that I have never been much of comic book fan and I have never read any of these books either. I did watch the first movie though and I liked it. Chloe Grace Moretz was freaking awesome in her role and I even liked Nic Cage's performance. I liked the first one so much that I would have read all the books if I had the time.

The Weekend Winner is a weekly update here on Caught on Set. Every Monday we will post pictures from the set of the movie that wins the box office battle over the weekend.

It was another slow weekend at the box office, but that doesn't mean there wasn't any excitement. Two new releases, House at the End of the Street and End of Watch, were very close to being number 1. And a third new release, Trouble With the Curve wasn't too far behind in third.

1 End of Watch $13,000,000
2 House at the End of The Street $13,000,000
3 Trouble with the Curve $12,720,000
4 Finding Nemo (3D) $9,446,000
5 Resident Evil: Retribution $6,700,000

PICTURES: Check out more on the Weekend Winner page

I really thought End of Watch would blow all the others out of the water over the weekend. I guess that goes to show what I know. Then again, it did play on 300 less screens than House at the End of the Street and 500 less than Trouble With the Curve. I may have been right if End of Watch had played on more screens. I was a bit surprised by how well Trouble with the Curve did, I guess the movie going public still loves Clint Eastwood.

This week we take A Look Back at the new release The Perks of Being A Wallflower starring Emma Watson. Again it's a small release, but it seems like a really good movie with a great young cast.

PICTURES: Check out more on the A Look Back page

Logan Lerman, Dylan McDermott, Kate Walsh, Nina Dobrev and Paul Rudd are also included in this all-star cast. I always wonder how films with such small budgets are able to get such awesome talent together. I guess they give up some on the production side to get better talent. And it seems like many actors are willing to take less money to be apart of an ensemble cast, especially if the screenplay is really good.

Yesterday, September19th, Alec Baldwin was caught on the set of the film Untitled Woody Allen Project in New York City. Baldwin must be pretty busy since the couldn't wait to get on his phone every time there was a break in the action. I wonder who he was talking to?

His new wife. That's who he is talking to. I'm not a close friend of his or even a psychic, but you don't have to be one to figure this call out. Who else would call and bug that often while you're at work? Am I right fellas or just not wrong? She probably saw a mouse or something. Just kidding ladies, you know I love you all. "I love women, I have all their Albums." - Hank Moody
