Monica revealed last week that she would love to visit India, and if things fall into place, star in a Bollywood film:
"I would love to come to India for a holiday. It is such a lively country. I have heard such good things about its festivals; its rich culture and its delicious food and I would specially like to come down to see the beautiful and the much talked about Taj Mahal ... I am packed with many Hollywood projects right now, but I would be keen to give [Bollywood] a shot only if the script appeals to me."

Speaking of Bellucci, in the wake of the corruption and prostitution scandal involving Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Newsweek had a pretty interesting piece on the "machismo" of Italian culture. Bellucci told the magazine that change in society won't come easy, but is attainable:
"[Mussolini] used to say that genius is just a men's quality. We are coming from that as the base, and it takes so much time to come up from that mentality. In Italy, women have to learn so many things. But most importantly, they have to learn confidence. Women in Italy are beautiful and sexy, but they have to learn that's not all they have."

Gorgeous Italian actress Monica Bellucci is spotted on the set of Rhinos Season in Istanbul, Turkey last Friday (4/1). The film is being directed by Iranian director Bahman Ghobadi and is the follow-up to his 2009 arthouse hit No One Knows About Persian Cats.
Covering Iran from before the revolution to the present, Bellucci told the Italian paper La Republica that the film will have a heavy political influence but that it's "also a great love story in which I will play an Iranian woman."
Exiled Iranian star Behrouz Vossoughi will also star.
