Sarah Hyland and Sofia Vergara are spotted filming Modern Family in Los Angeles on Tuesday (November 8). Of course Sarah was dressed in another figure-hugging dress.

Hyland's new film Geek Charming hits the Disney Channel this Friday night. The actress told Zap2It what it was like starring in the film with her real-life boyfriend Matt Prokop:

"It was amazing and so much fun. We had really long hours on that set, and it didn't matter to me if we had really long hours because I wasn't rushing to get home to see him because he was already there."

Modern Family seems to be very popular with the DVR/TiVo crowd. From the Los Angeles Times:

Through the first two weeks of the season, the Nielsen Co. said an average of 4.5 million viewers watched a recording of "Modern Family" after it first appeared on the air. That lifted the show's viewership from nearly 14 million people who watched it live to 18.5 million. It was the prime-time program that got the biggest lift when Nielsen's measurement of who watches on DVR within seven days is added in.

Chazz Palminteri, Jennifer Tilly, Sofia Vergara, and Ed O'Neill are spotted on the set of Modern Family in Los Angeles last week (October 6). Wow, Jennifer still looks great after all these years!

For her guest spot on the show, Jennifer will be playing the girlfriend of Chazz's character Shorty. Recall that Shorty is Jay's (O'Neill) friend who Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) incorrectly thought was gay on the episode Fifteen Percent last year.

Ed O'Neill and Fred Savage are spotted on the set of Modern Family on Monday in Los Angeles (October 10). Jesse Tyler Ferguson - who plays Mitchell on the show - tweeted the pic and said: "We have @TheFredSavage directing this weeks hilarious episode!"

Jesse also posted some pics featuring Eric Stonestreet, Rico Rodriguez, Nolan Gould, and special guest star Leslie Mann.

Modern Family continues to kick major butt in the ratings. 13.24 million viewers tuned into the last week's episode Door to Door. Ratings are way up from Seasons 1 and 2.

"Modern Family" filming at UCLA

Sarah Hyland and Ty Burrell are spotted filming Modern Family at UCLA in Westwood last week (October 7). Of course UCLA is home of the Bruins, but that looks like a Fresno State Bulldogs sweatshirt to me.

Ty has been married to his wife Holly since 2000. Last March the couple adopted a baby girl, Frances Burrell, their first. Ty told Elle earlier this year what's surprised him so far about being a father:

"This might sound really dumb, but I guess I didn't realize that you actually fall in love with children, that like with any other relationship, as time goes on you actually love them more. I was under the impression that when you first saw them you got smacked in the face with a full amount of love that just stuck around for the rest of your life. But the love actually takes the same path you have with every other relationship. Every week I feel her getting even further under my skin. Now I'm at that point where I miss her when she's asleep. I can't say that was true in the first few months."

Julie Bowen, Ty Burrell, and David Cross are seen on the set of their hit TV show Modern Family at a Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills last week (September 16).

Cross will join the cast for a recurring role as a city councilman named Duane who gets into multiple altercations with Claire Dunphy (Bowen). The third season will see more of Claire's neurotic behavior as she takes on City Hall. Look for the season premiere of Modern Family this Wednesday!

Congratulations to the whole cast of Modern Family for taking home five Emmy's on Sunday - including "Outstanding Comedy Series" for a second year in a row!

Even though Sofia is stunning, she still doesn't think she's that pretty. Earlier this week The Advocate asked the actress if it was tough playing a transsexual in the 2006 film Grilled and she said:

"No, because I look like a transsexual anyway. I’m a woman, but I’m super-exaggerated with my boobs, my ass, my makeup, and my accent. When I get ready for an event, I always look at myself in the mirror and say, 'I look like a transvestite!' I love it."
