Lucy Liu is spotted in full uniform on the set of Southland in Los Angeles yesterday (November 8). The actress will be playing the new role of Officer Tang on the show.

Lucy revealed to the National Ledger earlier this week that filming the cop drama is much tougher than she expected:
"You definitely get the grittiness, the reality of it. You just jump in headfirst. I've done a couple of stunts, and, you know, it's not about padding you up. It's about throwing you around. I don't think my martial-arts training is going to save me in this environment. They can be running around using their guns."
