"The Finder" stars get soaked on set

Michael Clarke Duncan, Geoff Stults, and Mercedes Masohn are spotted filming their new series The Finder in Miami last week (October 19). The show normally films in Los Angeles but was visiting Miami for a week of location shooting.

It was announced earlier this month that John Francis Daley - who plays the psychologist Sweets on Bones - is joining the cast of The Finder (which is actually a spin-off on Bones). Executive producer Stephen Nathan said:

"Who is more qualified to examine [Stults's] brain damaged paranoid finder than Sweets? I think the FBI made a very good choice sending him."

From the creator of the hit series Bones comes The Finder, the new one-hour procedural centering on a remarkable man who uses his unique gift to help others recover what they've lost. Walter (Stults) may have left the military, but his reputation as a discreet professional who can unearth anything and anyone has been passed on to generals, politicians and other powerful figures. His first post-military assignment was to find the CIA head honcho's missing daughter and bring her home. Walter did both, and since then has never been without an assignment.

Geoff Stults is spotted on the set of his new Fox series The Finder at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles last week (September 22). Play ball!--oops, I mean: action!

Geoff tweeted the pic and said: "Pretending to be cool in the dugout at Dodgers Stadium."

Also spotted on set were actors Michael Clarke Duncan and Maddie Hasson - and both were playing baseball. Looks like we have a baseball-themed episode coming up on The Finder. Cool!

Michael Clarke Duncan and Geoff Stults are seen on the set of their new Fox series The Finder last week in Long Beach (September 9). Staring contest!

Also seen on set was Director Adam Arkin and actress Maddie Hasson - check out all the pics in the gallery. And don't miss The Finder page for some pics of the pilot being shot in late February/early March.

Saffron Burrows was originally attached to the show (and shot the pilot), but she was replaced by Mercedes Masohn of Chuck fame. She'll play a U.S. Marshall with a "political endgame."

The cast of "The Finder" on set in Miami

Check out Michael Clarke Duncan, Saffron Burrows, and Geoff Stults last Friday on the set of their new show The Finder in South Beach, Miami (2/25).

Hart Hanson, the creator of Bones and The Finder, recently told Buddy TV that he's really excited about the casting choices on the new show:

"The spin-off episode of Bones will be shooting in Florida, in and around Miami mostly. We cast our lead earlier today. His name is Geoff Stults who will be playing the role of Walter Sherman. Our first casting coup was the remarkable Michael Clarke Duncan, who will be playing Leo Knox."

The Bones spin-off is set to air sometime in April. Check out more pics from set last week here.

"The Finder" filming in Miami

Michael Clarke Duncan, Saffron Burrows, and Geoff Stults are seen on the set of The Finder Thursday on Ocean Drive in Miami (Feb. 24). The series is a spinoff of the Fox hit forensic crime drama Bones and will be based on The Locator series of books written by author Richard Greener. The pilot of the series will air as the 19th episode of Bones current season.

In the new series, Stults plays Walter Sherman (aka "The Finder"), a former military policeman who can find anything. Duncan plays Leo Martinez, his partner in crime solving, while Burrows plays Walter's bar-owning confidante.

Look for the pilot sometime in April.
