The new season of Weeds kicks off on June 27. Hunter Parrish, who plays Nancy Botwin's (Parker) son Silas on the show, recently told BuzzSugar what he's most looking forward to this season:

"There's actually a lot that's exciting. We spent all of last season traveling, going all over the place, and this time we're in New York. Well, actually, filming in LA, but getting to do a New York season. Silas gets more heavily involved in the weed business, so that's been really exciting."

Survivor host Jeff Probst recently talked with TVGuide.com about his favorite shows. Let's just say it's probably a good thing for his career that Mary-Louise's character Nancy Botwin is fictional:

"I'd be a pothead if Mary-Louise Parker lived in my neighborhood. She's sexy, she's unpredictable and she's careless. Great combo."

Mary-Louise Parker is spotted on the set of Weeds last Friday in New York (April 29). The actress was seen rocking a sexy purple dress before changing into some comfortable sweats.

The 7th season of the Showtime series premieres this summer on June 27th.

After Mary was thrown in jail at the end of Season 6, Michael Ausiello of TVLine has some spoilers about what's in store for the show next season:

"Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker) will be now more than ever aware of just how royally messed up her life has become. And anytime she forgets, she need look no further than to the bunk next to hers for a reminder: There, according to some new casting intel, she’ll find Roya, the scheming Russian-American hottie with whom she shares a cell. (Hey, at least Roya also has an easy-on-the-eyes brother — a Demetri, no less! — to visit once in awhile.)

"Moreover, even once Nancy gets sprung, she’ll hardly be free and clear. On the contrary, the halfway house in which she’s detained comes with its own busybody Mrs. Garrett — albeit a male one. And her roommate there won’t be exactly a dream cohabitant, either."
