Throwback Thursday: "The Goonies"

Throwback Thursday is a weekly update that we do here on Caught on Set. Every Thursday we post pictures from the set of a movie you haven’t seen in a while, or possibly ever.

This week we throw it all the way back to 1985. The year of Tetris, We Are The World and Back to The Future. More importantly though, it was the year that Steven Spielberg, Chris Columbus and Richard Donner brought us The Goonies.

This movie is a classic and you can hardly find anyone who was young in the 80's who didn't love that movie. It had everything you want in a movie. A treasure hunt, intrigue, danger, young talented actors and a super hottie, I loved me some Kerri Green back in the day. You owe it to yourself to watch or re-watch this movie if it's been a while. The Goonies is one of my all time favorite movies and for good reason.

Martha Plimpton and Garret Dillahunt on the set of "Raising Hope"

Martha Plimpton and Garret Dillahunt are spotted on the set of their show Raising Hope in Los Angeles last week (September 29). Garret tweeted the pic and said: "Fake romance is serious business, apparently....I love working with little @MarthaPlimpton"

Amazingly, Raising Hope is the eighth television series that Garret has had a regular role on. He told Hitfix recently what he looks for in a new role:

"Well, I like a good story. I'm a fan of all kinds of genres, so that's nice. I like sci-fi stuff. I like westerns, obviously. I like all kinds of things. I need the story to be good. It'd be great if this one's different than the last one I played. I like change and this is like the polar opposite of the last thing I've done (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), so that's kind of what I look for. Good writing."
