The Weekend Winner is a weekly update here on Caught on Set. Every Monday we will post pictures from the set of the movie that wins the box office battle over the weekend.

Seth MacFarlane's first foray into the movie business has so far been a resounding success. The Family Guy creator's first film, Ted, won the box office battle over the weekend. By pulling in $54.1 million from 3,239 locations it became the highest opening original R-Rated comedy ever. From Boxofficemojo.com:

Congratulations Seth! What a great success. I haven't had a chance to see the movie yet, but the trailers look hilarious. Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis are a great pairing and look great too, which never hurts. I thought it would end up as the weekend's top box office draw, but I never thought they would pull in so much money. Ray Subers said it best, "After nearly two months of Summer movies targeted at younger audiences, this weekend served as a good reminder that adults like to go to the theater too." Indeed we do!

Mark Wahlberg and The Rock Film "Pain and Gain"

Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson were caught on set May 30th filming scenes for their upcoming movie Pain and Gain in Miami, Florida. "The Rock" has tweeted a couple pictures of him with fans from the set but hasn't said too much about the actual filming. But he did tweet some motivational words:

"We all get same 24hrs in a day. What we do with it is up to us.. #MoveTheCrowd"

Move the Crowd is right! I'm pumped up, let's get some stuff done today. I'm not sure which task to take on first, creating World Peace or ending World Hunger? I may be over shooting a little bit over here. Maybe I'll just do some push ups and work off some of the weight I gained over the holidays...in 2002. Also seen on set were Tony Shalhoub and Ed Harris. Pain and Gain is set to be released April 12, 2013.

Mark Wahlberg and Catherine Zeta-Jones are spotted on the set of their new film Broken City in New York yesterday (November 16). I'm digging Catherine's hat.

Welsh actor Rob Brydon revealed earlier this month to the BBC something pretty funny about growing up with Zeta-Jones (she's also Welsh):

"When I was 10 or 11 or 12, I was going into school one day and Catherine's mother said, 'I've forgotten to give Catherine her lunch money, will you give it to her?' I said I would. I went to the shop to get my lunch and then went to buy sweets. I bought pineapple chunks or cola cubes and I thought I had a lot of money, then realized it was money for Catherine."

Mark Wahlberg filming "Broken City"

Mark Wahlberg is seen filming his new movie Broken City in New York last week (November 10). Get that man a toothpick!

Along with his brothers Donnie Wahlberg and Paul Wahlberg, Mark officially opened his new restaurant Wahlburgers in Hingham, Massachusetts last month. Mark told The Sun Times that the new restaurant is the perfect project for his brother Paul:

"He's a five-star chef, but all he'll eat are burgers! I'm serious. He goes out and eats a burger everywhere he goes. From one place to the next. He always makes them for himself. And he really believes that he is going to make every single burger here!"

Mark Wahlberg on the set of "Broken City"

Mark Wahlberg is spotted on the set of his new movie Broken City in New York on Monday (November 7). He still looks as cute as ever!

Also starring Russell Crowe and Catherine Zeta-Jones, the film tells the story of an ex-cop (Wahlberg) hired by the mayor of New York (Crowe) to follow around his wife (Zeta-Jones), whom he suspects is cheating. After the mayor's fears are realized, his wife's lover turns up dead and a larger scandal begins to emerge.

Look for the film's release in early 2013.

Mark Wahlberg knees a cop on set!

Mark Wahlberg is spotted on the set of Ted in Boston on Saturday night (July 10). Norah Jones was also spotted entertaining the crowd of extras, which some estimates put at 3,000+!

A big thanks to BryantO, one of the extras for the scene, for taking the pics. Sounds like he had a great time on set:

"I was a crowd extra last night/early this morning for the movie Ted filming on location in Boston at the Hatch Shell. Mark Wahlberg was there along with Seth MacFarlane. The special musical guest star was Norah Jones and her band. Shawn Thorton also did a stunt scene. Caught a shot of Mark Wahlberg joking around where he knees a police officer... Lots of fun!"

Mila and Mark: Married!

Mila Kunis and Mark Wahlberg are spotted filming a wedding scene for their new movie Ted in Boston last Thursday (June 30). Sure it's not a real wedding, but at least she got to walk down the aisle with Mark!

Mila was also spotted on set a few weeks ago - check out those pics here.

Besides being a movie star, Mila is also the voice of Meg Griffin on Family Guy. She told Fox All Access yesterday that she's shocked by what the show gets away with:

"It doesn't surprise me how brilliant it is, but I do believe we have an amazing staff of writers that are absolutely the most amazing group of people. As far as gasping, yeah, I gasp a lot. I never get offended, but there are certain episodes where I'm like 'this will never get on the air' and then when it does, you know, it's amazing to me."
