Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan was caught on the set of Liz & Dick at the Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, California on June 20th. Things haven't been smooth sailing on or off the set during the production and some Lifetime executives are worried. According to TMZ.com:

"According to our sources, producers were particularly upset over her car accident on PCH. We're told the producers have five big concerns:

-- The company that insures the movie might bail
-- Her probation could be violated for lying to the cops
-- She could be prosecuted for lying to police
-- She could crash her car again
-- She's going to clubs where bad things happen"

Later in the TMZ article they go on to make the point that no movie in Lifetime's history has gotten so much press, as the old saying goes "there is no such thing as bad press." I completely agree with the TMZ writer that all of the buzz surrounding Lindsay (her car crash and lying to the police, a wardrobe malfunction, being called out by Rosie O'Donnell) and this made for TV movie will lead to some abnormally high ratings for the network. Now if only Lindsay could get into the press for doing something good every once in a while.

Lindsay Lohan was seen on the set of Liz & Dick June 5th in Los Angeles, CA. As you may have heard Lindsay was recently in the headlines after she got in to a car accident on Pacific Coast Highway when she ran her Porsche into the back of a Semi truck. Now she may be in even more trouble. From Tmz.com:

"Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Lindsay Lohan lied to cops Friday by telling them she was NOT driving the Porsche that slammed into a truck on the Pacific Coast Highway, and as a result she could be prosecuted and her probation could be revoked."

Wow, lying to the cops? Really Lindsay? Everyone knows you don't lie to the cops. At least not without getting your lie straight with your friends. I'm not sure if Lohan will ever actually have to go to jail (highly doubtful), but like Britney from the post before she definitely needs to get her stuff together. Both have had some crazy moments in their lives ruin otherwise great careers. When you get a second chance like this you have to take full advantage of it. Come in Lindsay, we believe in you and we want you to get back to the actress you were before.

Grant Bowler and Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan and Grant Bowler were spotted June 5th filming Liz & Dick on a boat in Los Angeles. It seems Lilo had trouble keeping her dress on as she came out the top of her dress a few times while shooting. Liz & Dick is a made for Tv movie that will air on Lifetime. From abcnews.com:

"the 25-year-old actress on set of Lifetime’s Elizabeth Taylor bio-pic which begins filming this week. Lohan stars as the late acting icon alongside “True Blood’s” Grant Bowler, who plays one of Taylor’s many husbands, Richard Burton.

Lohan’s rep declined to comment on how the actress prepared for the part, but according to TMZ, she cut and dyed her blonde locks to mimic Taylor’s brunette ‘do, because what’s a few inches for the role that could relaunch your stalled career?"

Dying and cutting your hair is a pretty drastic thing to do for a job. Well everywhere that isn't called "Hollywood" it is. Lohan dying and cutting her hair isnt' that big a deal since she does it all the time. That isn't what will convince me that the talented actress we all knew is back. In order to do that, she'll need to behave herself on set and obviously pull out a great performance. We all know she has the talent in her, now she just needs to get her head on the same page. Liz & Dick is scheduled to air in October of this year.

Jackson Hurst, Kim Kardashian, Brooke Elliot and April Bowlby

Kim Kardashian took a picture with some cast members on the set of Drop Dead Diva in Atlanta. Kanye's lady will appear in at least two episodes on the upcoming 4th season of the Lifetime series. A couple of weeks ago she tweeted:

"So excited for the June 3 premiere of @dropdeaddiva on @lifetimetv! Here I am on set! RT if you’re a #dropdeaddiva fan"

I can't wait to see Kim K. acting again. I haven't watched too much of Drop Dead Diva, so I'll be spending my free time watching the first three seasons on DVD. Like Ms. Kardashian's tweet said, the fourth season premieres June 3 on Lifetime. Don't miss it. Also seen on set were Jackson Hurst, Brooke Elliot and April Bowlby

Lifetime is remaking 1980's hit movie The Blue Lagoon. Carrie Wampler, Shanice Alexia and Brenton Thwaites were spotted on set in Maui this week.

Indiana Evans will reprise the roll that made Brooke Shields famous. If you young kids don't know who Brooke Shields is, Google it and stop making me feel old.
