Marty Scorsese Wants To Say Hello From Set

The great Martin Scorsese was seen filming scenes for the Wolf of Wall Street in Ardsley, New York, last week. He spotted a paparazzi hanging about and he was thrilled to see him. He even took time to wave to the cameraman and send a big hello to all of us through the lens.

Well, hello to you too Martin. What a nice guy that Mr. Scorsese is. Seriously though, I do understand that it must be pretty frustrating to always be hounded by the Paparazzi as you just try and work. But he did bring this on himself. If he never made such great films, then no one would be interested in his work. It's like a gift and a curse. Oh yeah, I almost forgot. There was some actor type guy on the set too. I think his name is Leonardo DiCaprio or something like that.

Martin Scorsese Is A Master At Work

Last Saturday Leonardo DiCaprio was hard at work filming his new movie The Wolf Of Wall Street in Lower Manhattan. Pulling the strings on this upcoming flick is one of the all time greats, Martin Scorsese. The movie is based on the book of the same name by Jordan Belfort. Who is also the main character in this "hilarious tell-all autobiography."

Martin Scorsese is such a genuis of filmaking. He has made so many of the great films of all time. Let's play a game and name some favorites. Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, The King of Comedy, The Color of Money, Goodfellas, Cape Fear, Gangs of New York, The Departed and George Harrison: Living in the Material World. Now he's doing The Wolf of Wall Street which looks like it's going to be great. He's the type of filmmaker that makes kids want to grow up and become filmmakers. He's that good.

Leonardo DiCaprio Looks Slick On "Wolf of Wall Street" Set

Leonardo DiCaprio was caught filming The Wolf Of Wall Street in Lower Manhattan earlier this week. Here a 30 more pictures of the amazing Leo for your enjoyment. It's better if you take a look at each pictures more than once, you need to savor Mr. DiCaprio while you can.

I really do love this guy's work. (Not to mention how awesome his personal life is also. Juliette Lewis, Bridget Hall, Clair Danes, Kristin Zang, Gisele Bundchen, Bar Rafeli and Blake Lively to name just a few of the highlights.) I have to admit that I wasn't always a fan, Romeo and Juliet and Titanic are two of my least favorite movies of all time. Then he went on an amazing run of great work. Gangs of New York, The Departed and Inception are only 3 of his great movies since Titanic in 1997. Not only is this movie in the works, but he also will appear in Django Unchained and The Great Gatsby. I can't wait for all three of those movies.

Leo Looking Old School On The Set Of "The Wolf Of Wall Street"

This past Saturday Leonardo DiCaprio was spotted on the set of Wolf of Wall St in New York City. Even though it's not a period piece per se, that double breasted grey suit Leo is rocking looks classic. DiCarprio will play the part of Jordan Belfort in the Martin Scorsese directed picture.

So we have now seen pictures of Leo and Matthew McConaughey filming scenes from this movie. Now that I know Scorsese is the director, it just makes it seem even better. Not to mention Jonah Hill, Jon Favreau and Rob Reiner are also involved. I need to find out the actual release date for this flick, I need to see this thing when it hits theaters.

Tobey Maguire, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Carey Mulligan are spotted on the set of The Great Gatsby in Sydney, Australia last week (November 18). These are some of the first shots of Carey on the set of the new film (she plays Daisy Buchanan).

In an interview with the Sydney Daily Telegraph last week, Carey revealed that she actually had a kissing seen with Johnny Depp in the 2009 film Public Enemies, but it was cut!:

"I had to kiss him several times. It was 16 times, but it was cut out of the film because I looked so uncomfortable. I was kissing Johnny Depp and I got really nervous."
