Jon Bon Jovi and Katherine Heigl must love the script of "New Year's Eve"

Jon Bon Jovi and Katherine Heigl are seen laughing it up while filming New Year's Eve at the Brooklyn Museum in New York yesterday (Feb. 8).

We may be seeing more of Jon on the big screen in the next few years. Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres just revealed that the band is going on a break after they finish their 2011 world tour:

"Sometimes you need to get away so people can appreciate you better, and you also have to get away to live your life and create and recharge. So the best thing I can tell you is we're gonna need a couple years off for sure."

Two years? Oh well, I'll always have my Greatest Hits CD.

Katherine Heigl staying warm on the set of "New Year's Eve"

February 3 - Katherine Heigl is spotted all bundled up on the set of New Year's Eve in New York. Filming for this Garry Marshall-directed romcom began just a few days ago. You can see pics of Sofia Vergara on set here.

There was a rumor that Frankie Muniz signed on to the star-studded cast, but he quickly shot down those rumors with this tweet: "If I'm in the upcoming "New Year's Eve" movie, nobody told me! I'm not sure where news outlets got that info... But I know nothing about it!"

Look for New Year's Eve in theaters on December 9.

February 2 - Katherine Heigl is seen on the set of New Year's Eve in New York. Katherine took over Halle Berry's role after she dropped out of the film.

New Year's Eve features a HUGE list of stars -- Jessica Biel, Jon Bon Jovi, Robert De Niro, Josh Duhamel, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ashton Kutcher, and Lea Michele among others.

As if that wasn't an already impressive enough list, Variety is reporting that Alyssa Milano was just added to the cast. She'll play a nurse caring for an elderly patient who has no one to spend New Year's Eve with.
