Primary filming for the movie - in which the lives of several couples intersect over New Year's Eve - stretched from February to April earlier this year. Marshall must not have been happy with some of the shots, hence the reshoots.
Look for the film's release on December 9.

Jon Bon Jovi
Rocker Jon Bon Jovi is seen on the set of New Year's Eve yesterday in Brooklyn (Feb. 10). Jon plays a successful rock star - really going out on a limb there - who once dumped Katherine Heigl's character but accidentally runs into her at a party.
These are probably the last on-set photos we'll see of Jon -- he and the rest of the Bon Jovi crew kicked off their world tour last night to a crowd of 15,000 at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center in State College, Pa.
"This is one big frat party and we’re all in the same fraternity," Jon told the crowd or crazed college students.

Jon Bon Jovi and Katherine Heigl
Jon Bon Jovi and Katherine Heigl are seen laughing it up while filming New Year's Eve at the Brooklyn Museum in New York yesterday (Feb. 8).
We may be seeing more of Jon on the big screen in the next few years. Bon Jovi drummer Tico Torres just revealed that the band is going on a break after they finish their 2011 world tour:
"Sometimes you need to get away so people can appreciate you better, and you also have to get away to live your life and create and recharge. So the best thing I can tell you is we're gonna need a couple years off for sure."
Two years? Oh well, I'll always have my Greatest Hits CD.
