Today we take a look back to the making of To Rome With Love, Woody Allen's follow up to 2011's Midnight in Paris. To Rome stars Woody Allen, Penelope Cruz, Ellen Page, Alec Baldwin, Jesse Eisenberg and Roberto Benigni. To Rome With Love will not be a serious contender to win the box office this weekend as it is only opening in 5 theaters in New York and Los Angeles. Total. "Brave is set to open in a Pixar-record 4,164 locations, 2,790 of which will include 3D shows. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter will also try to battle its way to solid grosses at 3,106 theaters (2,497 with 3D), but its target demographic is too narrow for it to really break out. Meanwhile, Focus Features is releasing apocalyptic comedy/drama Seeking a Friend for the End of the World at 1,618 venues, while To Rome with Love, Woody Allen's follow-up to Midnight in Paris, launches in a handful of theaters in New York and Los Angeles."

Did you know Pixar had a string of nine-straight $200 million openings and they only have 1 movie in it's entire history to receive a "rotten" rating on Rotten Tomatoes? If you didn't you obviously didn't read Mr. Subers story before this one. Don't feel bad though, because now you do know and knowing is half the battle.

Jesse Eisenberg and Greta Gerwig

Jesse Eisenberg and Greta Gerwig are seen on the set of Woody Allen's new film Bop Decameron (note: the title has since been changed to To Rome with Love) on Friday in Rome, Italy (July 29). I love Jesse. He's sort of "nerdy" hot.

Jesse was also spotted filming a scene last week with both Ellen Page and Alec Baldwin - you can find those pictures here and here.

In an interview with The A.V. Club last year, Greta revealed how, since hitting it big in Hollywood, she's grown to love Los Angeles:

"I love Los Angeles. I live in New York, and I love New York as well, but I think Los Angeles is a place where if you have the right person with you, there are all these little worlds that you would never guess by just looking at the exterior of what the city is."

Alec Baldwin and Jesse Eisenberg

Alec Baldwin and Jesse Eisenberg are seen filming their movie Bop Decameron (note: the title has since been changed to To Rome with Love) in Rome, Italy on Tuesday (July 26). Looks like Alec has some choice words for Jesse in the scene. Lunch fight!

Earlier this week, Alec revealed on twitter that the film he's most proud of starring in is The Hunt for Red October. Last year, the 30 Rock star told Entertainment Weekly he was initially worried that Sean Connery would overshadow him in the film:

"I just said to myself, 'I am so screwed. I am invisible in this movie now. This guy looks like $10 million just stacked end to end. No one's even going to see me in this movie.'"

Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page

Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page are spotted filming Bop Decameron (note: the title has since been changed to To Rome with Love) in Rome, Italy earlier this week (July 26). They make a cute pair. I wonder if they're a couple in the film?

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Ellen revealed that she's not a fan of celebrity gossip:

"The things people wrote about me when Juno came out... You know no one should be allowed to write that about a 21-year-old kid. People treat [celebrity gossip] like it's a joke. 'Let's splatter their face on newspapers every day and show them being taken out of their house on a stretcher.' It's, like, why don't we ask why this is happening? It makes me very angry."

Jesse Eisenberg

January 19 -- The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg is seen on the set of his new comedy 30 Minutes or Less in Los Angeles. In the film, Eisenberg plays a pizza man who gets kidnapped and is forced to rob a bank with a bomb strapped to his chest. Aziz Ansari and Danny McBride also star.

A big congrats go out to Jesse as he was nominated for a "Best Actor" Oscar this morning. Here's his competition:
