The Weekend Winner is a weekly update here on Caught on Set. Every Monday we will post pictures from the set of the movie that wins the box office battle over the weekend.

It was another slow weekend at the box office, but that doesn't mean there wasn't any excitement. Two new releases, House at the End of the Street and End of Watch, were very close to being number 1. And a third new release, Trouble With the Curve wasn't too far behind in third.

I really thought End of Watch would blow all the others out of the water over the weekend. I guess that goes to show what I know. Then again, it did play on 300 less screens than House at the End of the Street and 500 less than Trouble With the Curve. I may have been right if End of Watch had played on more screens. I was a bit surprised by how well Trouble with the Curve did, I guess the movie going public still loves Clint Eastwood.

Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence is spotted filming The Silver Linings Playbook in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania earlier this week (October 26). The actress plays Tiffany in the film, Pat People's (Bradley Cooper) tragically-widowed and clinically depressed neighbor.

Rumor is Rachel McAdams, Blake Lively, and Anne Hathaway also wanted the role of Tiffany, but it ultimately went to Jennifer. If she's half as good as she was in Winter's Bone (a role for which she received a "Best Actress" nomination), I'd say director David O. Russell made the smart choice!

Jennifer Lawrence and Willow Shields

Jennifer Lawrence and Willow Shields are spotted on the set of The Hunger Games in Shelby, North Carolina last week (May 26). Liam Hemsworth was also spotted - check out those pics here.

Jennifer recently revealed that, though her parents were always in support of her acting ambition, they're fully behind her now:

"Of course they were skeptical, as anyone would be if their 14-year-old said, 'I think I'm going to move to New York and be an actress.' They made sure that I got my education because they were basically preparing for me to fail. They were waiting for me to fail so that we could go home and get back to normal. And now I'm here. Now they think it's great, they're having a blast."
