Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T

Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T are spotted on the set of Law & Order: SVU in New York last week (April 15).

In what must have been a fun day for him, Mariska brought her 4-year-old August to the set (check out all the cute pics in the gallery). August actually played a big role in naming Mariska and husband Peter Hermann's newly-adopted daughter Amaya Josephine. The actress told People:

"We all talked about names because everything is a family decision in our house. I threw out my name and he threw out his name and I said, 'August, why do you get to name the baby?' And he said, 'Because it's my idea!'

"I liked the name [Maya], but I wanted her to have the same initials as August. I thought adding the 'A' was so feminine. Amaya sounded so open and feminine and beautiful – just like her."
