Josh Hutcherson is spotted on the set of The Hunger Games in Shelby, North Carolina on Tuesday (May 31). Josh plays romantic, reluctant hero Peeta Mellark in the film.

Josh told Portrait magazine last year how he deals with the inevitable rejection that comes with being an actor:

"For me, I wish I could say I've never gotten rejected, but that's definitely a lie. It's definitely hard, for me, I guess what I've always done since I was little was, just sort of let go of it pretty easily and sort of always looking forward to the next project. And I had a thinking that everything happens for a reason, so if I didn't get one project, it's because in the long run it may not have been best for me, or something like that. It's probably just delusional, and I didn't get the part because I wasn't good enough for it or I wasn't right for it, but I don't tell myself that, so I definitely try to keep my chin up."

Jennifer Lawrence and Willow Shields are spotted on the set of The Hunger Games in Shelby, North Carolina last week (May 26). Liam Hemsworth was also spotted - check out those pics here.

Jennifer recently revealed that, though her parents were always in support of her acting ambition, they're fully behind her now:

"Of course they were skeptical, as anyone would be if their 14-year-old said, 'I think I'm going to move to New York and be an actress.' They made sure that I got my education because they were basically preparing for me to fail. They were waiting for me to fail so that we could go home and get back to normal. And now I'm here. Now they think it's great, they're having a blast."

Liam Hemsworth is spotted on the set of The Hunger Games in Shelby, North Carolina last Thursday (May 26). Looks like Liam is dying his hair a bit darker for his role in the highly-anticipated film series based on Suzanne Collins' trilogy of novels.

Liam's co-star in the film, Jennifer Lawrence, told Entertainment Weekly, that sure Liam's a total hottie, but he's also a great actor:

"Liam is just a solid brick of muscle and you look at him and you're like 'Oh, okay great!' But he's got depth and he's interesting and at the same time he's natural and he flows."

Here's some set pics of the highly anticipated movie The Hunger Games taken this week in Shelby, North Carolina. Some of the pics show the mythical District 12, the poor district (formerly Appalachia) where the main characters Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence) and Petta Mellark (played by Josh Hutcherson) are from.

The Shelby Star, has some tips for those Cleveland County residents hoping to be an extra in the film:

"Two casting calls were held at Cleveland Mall and hundreds of locals showed up hoping to land an on-screen role. If you haven’t been contacted already about being in the film, site coordinator Jason King advises hopeful actors to contact the casting agent they spoke to when they signed up."
