Hilary Swank and Jon Bon Jovi are spotted doing some reshoots for the ensemble romcom New Year's Eve in New York on Saturday (September 17). Also spotted on set was director Garry Marshall - check out the pics in the gallery.

Primary filming for the movie - in which the lives of several couples intersect over New Year's Eve - stretched from February to April earlier this year. Marshall must not have been happy with some of the shots, hence the reshoots.

Look for the film's release on December 9.

Hilary Swank wrapping up filming on "New Year's Eve"

Hilary Swank is spotted on the set of New Year's Eve last week in New York (Mar. 24). Hilary's been in New York since early this month filming the ensemble comedy. Check out some pics of her on Caught on Set's Hilary Swank page.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ludacris has just been added to the cast of the film. He'll play a member of the NYPD who interacts with Hilary's character Claire Morgan, the director of the annual New Year's Eve festivities in Times Square.

According to my estimate, EVERYONE IN HOLLYWOOD is officially in this film! LOL

Hilary Swank is seen on the set of New Year's Eve in New York's Times Square on Monday (Mar. 14). Lea Michele was also spotted on set earlier this week (pics here) - I wonder if they'll be shooting any scenes together?

Swank told the Belfast Telegraph a few weeks ago that's she's really excited to work on this ensemble comedy, which won't be as grueling as some of the other roles she's played (e.g. Million Dollar Baby):

"I'm doing New Year's Eve with Garry Marshall, which is a bit like the movie Valentine's Day, funnily enough. There are lots of little vignettes with different people and I start in a couple of weeks. I'm really excited about it.

"I'm doing my prep now; it's a really fun character and there's no weight to gain or weight to lose. She's a fun girl."

Can't wait to see all the stars in this movie!

Hilary Swank on the set of "New Year's Eve"

The cast of New Year's Eve has so many big stars in it that Abigail Breslin couldn't even name them all! She told MTV:

"Oh my goodness. It's huge, right? It's, um, Sofia Vergara, Katherine Heigl, Robert DeNiro, Zac Efron, Lea Michele, there are so many people. My mind... there are so many people! Sarah Jessica Parker, there are so many people... I think it's like a hundred million or something like that. Somewhere around there."
