Eva Longoria is seen showing off her bruised arms on the set of Desperate Housewives in Los Angeles last Friday (July 22). Ouch!

Eva tweeted the picture and said: "My wounds from pole dancing! Wait til u see this episode of DH! Hilarious! Worth the pain!"

Eva's not going into the pole-dancing scene unprepared - she's been a stripper-in-training for a few weeks now. A source told Hollywood Life:

"Eva has been taking one-on-one sessions at S Factor in Los Angeles. She's getting busy because her character has some pole dancing, striptease scenes on Desperate Housewives this season."

Eva Longoria is spotted filming Desperate Housewives in Los Angeles earlier this week (July 12). The beautiful star was seen wearing a sexy floral top as she dashed down some stairs.

Eva's new film Without Men is due to hit theaters this year. Also starring Christian Slater and Judy Reyes, the comedy is about the women of a remote Latin American town who are forced to pick up the pieces and remake their world when communist guerrillas forcibly recruit all the town's men. Reyes told E! it was a pleasure to work with Eva on the film:

"Eva was a total crack up. She's extremely, extremely professional. I've never seen anybody work so much or work so hard and multitask as much as she did."

January 28 -- Eva Longoria is seen channeling her inner 50's housewife on the set of Desperate Housewives in Los Angeles. So cute!

After her recent divorce from husband Tony Parker, everyone in Hollywood has been wondering how soon it would take for Eva to get back on her feet. Well wonder no further -- she was seen on a date last week with Penelope Cruz's handsome 25-year-old brother Eduardo.

January 20 -- A glamorous-looking Eva Longoria is seen on the set of Desperate Housewives in Los Angeles.

Even though Desperate Housewives is ABC's most-watched scripted show, Bloomberg reports that it has yet to be renewed for another season because stars Eva Longoria, Felicity Huffman, and Marcia Cross all want an increase in their $400,000/episode salary.

Paul Lee, President of ABC Entertainment, said, "There are a lot of moving parts, but we have ambitions to pick it up. We expect to get the agreements in place but it just hasn’t happened yet."

December 16 - Eva Longoria filming a dramatic car jacking scene on the set of her hit television show Desperate Housewives. Check out Eva and her other lovely co-stars every Sunday at 9:00 PM.

Over the weekeed, Eva rang in the New Year with friends on Loren Ridinger's yacht, the Utopia 3 in Miami. Looks like Eva is not letting her tumultuous 2010 keep her down. 2011 is already looking fun for her!
